In an unexpected turn of events, Qazaq Air is currently investigating an incident that occurred on the night of August 4-5, 2025. The incident involved a passenger boarding the wrong flight, causing a delay and subsequent hassle for all passengers on board.

According to reports, a passenger who was supposed to be on a flight scheduled for August 5 ended up on an earlier flight due to delays and technical issues. This "extra" passenger, who was actually from another flight, boarded a FlyArystan flight from Almaty to Semey, causing a delay in the departure of the plane.

The plane was initially scheduled to depart at 23:55 on August 4, but boarding started late, around 23:50. The plane took off with the "extra" passenger on board, and it was only later that it was realised that the passenger was not supposed to be on that flight.

The plane was delayed by an additional 40 minutes due to the incident, and the airline did not send the plane without delay. This caused a hassle of getting everyone off the plane and re-screening. The plane eventually arrived at its destination, Semey, at 04:20, well beyond the usual arrival time.

One passenger recounted the situation, stating that it was a delay that could have been avoided. Qazaq Air has confirmed that they are conducting an internal investigation into the incident and will implement changes and improvements in operational processes to prevent similar situations in the future.

It is unclear how the airline realised that the "extra" passenger was from another flight, but the incident highlights a potential issue with the airline's system, allowing a "rabbit" to receive a boarding pass for the wrong flight.

Interestingly, a similar incident occurred with FlyArystan in 2020, indicating that this may not be an isolated case. As of now, no publicly documented details about a specific Qazaq Air boarding error incident on those dates are currently available in the search data.

The incident occurred on flight IQ360 from Almaty to Astana on the night of August 4-5. Qazaq Air has not yet released a statement regarding the outcome of their investigation or the specific changes they will implement to prevent such incidents in the future.

In the meantime, passengers are advised to double-check their boarding passes and flight details to avoid any confusion or delays.

A passenger, who was intended for a flight on August 5, unintentionally partook in a FlyArystan flight the day prior, affecting the departure time and causing a 40-minute delay on their flight from Almaty to Semey. This event underscores the importance of maintaining vigilance in one's lifestyle, even during travel.

Qazaq Air, currently investigating this incident, seeks to find improvements in their operational processes to proactively prevent similar occurrences in the future, emphasizing the need for continuous adaptation and better operational efficiency in travel.
