Emirates Enhances Travel Experience on Madrid Route with Refurbished Boeing 777

Starting September 16, 2025, passengers flying between Dubai and Madrid can look forward to an enhanced travel experience on Emirates' refurbished Boeing 777 aircraft. This next-generation aircraft will offer a sophisticated, comfortable, and technologically advanced travel environment, featuring upgraded cabins across all classes.

The Premium Economy cabin, a new addition to Spain, offers accessible luxury with cream leather seats, increased legroom, adjustable headrests, deeper seat recline, and raised cushioned leg rests. Business Class passengers will enjoy fully lie-flat seats in an updated 1-2-1 seating configuration, offering more privacy and comfort. First Class travelers will find unparalleled luxury in the refreshed interiors. Even Economy Class passengers will benefit from ergonomically improved seats with new design elements.

Emirates' award-winning ICE inflight entertainment system will be available, offering over 6,500 channels, including more than 260 Spanish-language channels. Regionally inspired meals and a premium drinks list will also be on offer.

Flights EK143 (Dubai to Madrid) and EK144 (Madrid to Dubai) will operate daily, with EK143 departing Dubai at 14:30 and arriving in Madrid at 20:20 local time. The return flight, EK144, will depart Madrid at 22:05 and arrive in Dubai at 7:10 local time the following day.

This retrofit is part of Emirates’ extensive multibillion-dollar cabin modernization program, aimed at transforming over 220 aircraft with refreshed interiors and upgraded passenger experiences. Madrid becomes the first Spanish destination served with this retrofitted Boeing 777, showcasing Emirates’ latest cabin innovations.

Passengers traveling with Emirates will have access to regionally inspired gourmet meals, a premium beverage selection, and award-winning inflight entertainment on ice.
