Apply Now: Environmental Award for Companies 2026 Focuses on Sustainable Procurement
The Environmental Award for Companies 2026 is now open for applications from businesses and freelancers based in Baden-Württemberg. The award, which honours exceptional achievements in operational environmental and climate protection, focuses on 'Sustainable Procurement and Supply Chains' this year. Applications are accepted across various categories, including Trade and Services, companies with over 1,000 employees, and the health and social economy.
The jury will assess companies based on factors such as environmentally oriented corporate management, efficient use of resources, and reduction of environmental impacts. The application deadline is February 2, 2026, and the award ceremony will take place on December 1, 2026 at the New Palace in Stuttgart. The award is endowed with 10,000 euros per category. Notably, all applicants will also compete for the jury prize, which can be awarded up to twice.
Environment Minister Thekla Walker aims to foster and appreciate commitment to sustainable action in businesses through this prestigious award.
