Detailed Analysis of Vietnam Airlines' Business Class Experience

In a recent flight review, we experienced the luxurious comfort of Vietnam Airlines' Business Class on their Airbus A350-900, specifically flight VN772 from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City on December 22, 2024.

The Business Class cabin offers a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout, ensuring every seat has direct aisle access and maximum privacy. Each semi-private seat includes a coat hook, storage bin, extendable armrests, and a minibar-style space for small items. The seats are Cirrus III, offering a slightly larger screen for the in-flight entertainment system which showcases Korean, Western, and Vietnamese movies, music, and an inflight map.

The cabin atmosphere is modern and elegant, with ambient mood lighting, making for a more spacious and quiet environment. Business Class passengers also enjoy priority check-in, lounge access, and other premium airport services, such as a visit to the SkyTeam Alliance Lounge at Sydney International.

The service level in Business Class is top-tier. Multi-course meals featuring Vietnamese and international cuisine are served on proper dishware, with warm and attentive cabin crew. The first meal service included a Marinated Prawn with Salmon Tarator, Steamed Ling Fillet Chinese-style, and assorted desserts. The second meal service before landing offered three options: Smoked Salmon with Avocado Salad, Chicken Mushroom Pie, and a Dim Sum Trio, which included Char Siu Pork Bun, Spinach Prawn Dumpling, and Pork Siu Mai. Each Business Class passenger receives a Cerruti 1881 amenity kit containing various items.

Vietnam Airlines' long-haul A350s feature Safran Cirrus III Business Class seats in a reverse-herringbone layout. The Business Class lavatories are slightly more spacious than Economy/Premium Economy. However, the entertainment system could benefit from additional features like a HUD view or external camera, and unfortunately, WiFi is unavailable on this long-haul flight.

Despite these minor drawbacks, the cabin crew consistently delivers top-tier service, making every effort to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable journey. For travellers seeking comfort without the full business class fare, Vietnam Airlines' Premium Economy offers an award-winning upgrade over economy. However, for those seeking a more luxurious experience with lie-flat beds, more privacy, and top-tier dining and service, Business Class is the ideal choice for long-haul flights.

In the realm of airline news, the luxurious Business Class experience offered by Vietnam Airlines on their Airbus A350-900 flights, such as VN772 from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City, is a highlight in the lifestyle and travel sectors. Within this premium class, passengers can enjoy a spacious and quiet environment, in-flight entertainment that showcases various movies, music, and an inflight map, and even priority check-in and access to lounges like the SkyTeam Alliance Lounge at Sydney International. For sports enthusiasts, keeping updated with the latest service level in Business Class is also a valuable source of information, as the top-tier service delivered by the cabin crew plays a significant role in ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey for all passengers.
