Hideaway Spa Opens in Singapore's New Bahru, Blending Heritage and Wellness
Hideaway Spa, nestled within Singapore's New Bahru lifestyle destination, has opened its doors, blending heritage and contemporary design. The spa offers a unique wellness experience, combining thermal therapies, massages, and a carefully curated retail collection.
The spa's interior is the brainchild of local studio Parable, known for its work with luxury brands like Hermès. Parable has seamlessly combined heritage-conscious elements with contemporary design, using materials such as glass blocks and terracotta.
Hideaway's thermal experiences include infrared saunas, which promote cellular repair and detoxification, and cold plunges that reduce inflammation and boost immunity. The spa's new bathhouse space, opened late in 2024, features custom-built cold plunge tubs and infrared saunas. The spa also offers contrast therapy, activating the parasympathetic nervous system to improve sleep and reduce anxiety.
Guests can enjoy both private and semi-private spaces for these thermal news and massages, including a head-to-toe massage. The spa's neuroaesthetic interior design creates a soothing atmosphere, complemented by music from founder Grant Wee's favorite artists like Frank Ocean and Cigarettes After Sex.
Hideaway's retail collection is thoughtfully curated, featuring a signature scent by Postcard, scalp serum by Jing Botanics, and handmade bath products from Savan Baths.
Hideaway Spa, located in the former mid-century high school in New Bahru, River Valley, offers a holistic wellness news. Its unique blend of thermal therapies, massages, and retail collection provides guests with a comprehensive approach to self-care and relaxation.
