Honda Marks CR-V's 30th Birthday with Astrophotography-Focused Dream Pod
Honda commemorates the 30th anniversary of its CR-V SUV with a distinctive creation: the CR-V Dream Pod. This one-of-a-kind model, inspired by Japan's capsule hotels, provides lodging for two and is equipped for astrophotography adventures.
The CR-V Dream Pod is based on the plug-in hybrid CR-V, boasting an all-electric range of 79km. It features the EGOE Nestboard 650, a compact in-car camping solution with a double mattress and cooking stove. For privacy, it includes tailored blackout covers and a retractable blind.
To mark the occasion, Honda dispatched astrophotographer Luca Bracali to the Italian Alps. Using the Dream Pod, he snapped spectacular nighttime shots under the stars. The Dream Pod's interior includes 'tech pods' with LED reading lights, pull-out side tables, and USB charging sockets, ensuring comfort and convenience during stargazing sessions.
The CR-V Dream Pod is a unique celebration of the CR-V's 30-year history. As one of the original 'crossover SUV' models, the CR-V continues to innovate, blending practicality with adventure and comfort.
