MENA Leads Global Low-Carbon Future with CCUS Initiatives

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region is stepping up as a key player in the global low-carbon future, thanks to its Carbon Capture, Utilisation, and Storage (CCUS) initiatives. The Carbon Capture MENA Summit 2026 (#CCMS2026), set for Dubai on 1-2 April 2026, aims to drive the next chapter of CCUS innovation and impact.

The summit, organised by Middle East-focused entities, will bring together over 500 industry leaders and 80 visionary speakers. They will discuss fit-for-purpose CCUS policies, decarbonisation applications, breakthrough innovations, carbon markets, and infrastructure development. MENA's commitment to CCUS is evident in projects like Saudi Arabia's Jubail CCS Hub, UAE's Habshan CCUS Project, and Qatar's Ras Laffan CCS Project.

CCUS is a key strategy for global decarbonisation, and MENA, with its abundant natural resources and strategic vision, is well-positioned to lead in developing large-scale CCUS projects. The goal of the summit is to accelerate MENA's leadership in scaling CCUS solutions and shaping a sustainable energy future.

The Carbon Capture MENA Summit 2026 promises to be MENA's leading CCUS event, providing a platform for industry leaders to collaborate, innovate, and drive the region's low-carbon future.
