Nuremberg Airport is gearing up for the winter season with an expanded flight schedule, offering travellers a diverse range of destinations to choose from.
Starting from 13 October, the airport will serve up new destinations, including Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt, a popular diving hotspot. Egypt is one of the regions well-represented in the winter flight schedule at Nuremberg Airport, with Hurghada being served up to 20 times a week in the winter schedule, and Marsa Alam also on the list. Airlines such as Marabu, Corendon Airlines, Eurowings, and Air Cairo offer flights to these destinations.
Antalya in Turkey remains a popular winter destination, with SunExpress, Freebird, Corendon, and Pegasus providing flights to the region. The Iberian Peninsula offers attractive winter destinations such as Alicante, Malaga, Sevilla, and Valencia, while the Canary Islands, Italy, and Turkey are also included in the schedule.
For those seeking milder climates, Italy and Greece offer destinations such as Bari, Palermo, and Thessaloniki. Hiking and nature enthusiasts may find appeal in Madeira and Faro in Portugal. Other Eastern European countries such as Moldova, North Macedonia, Lithuania, and Bulgaria are also included in the program.
City trips are in demand, with London, Paris, Amsterdam, Budapest, Belgrade, and Istanbul high on the list of travellers. Air France offers three daily connections to Paris, making it an easily accessible city break destination.
The winter flight schedule at Nuremberg Airport aims to attract vacationers to warmer regions, with over 40 nonstop destinations on offer. Ryanair and Vueling serve the routes to these destinations, ensuring a smooth journey for travellers.
