Three of the injured passengers were taken to Clínica Rotger, and three to Palmaplanas Hospital in Palma. The injuries are described as minor, and there have been no reports of severe burns or critical conditions. The remaining injured passengers were treated on-site or transferred to a nearby medical facility for further care.

Airport authorities are providing assistance to stranded passengers due to the flight disruptions caused by the fire. A replacement aircraft was arranged, and the return flight eventually departed at around 07:00 CEST, approximately eight hours after the incident, declaring an emergency on approach to Manchester Airport but with no further issues reported.

The airline has apologised for the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to the fire incident. The Ryanair plane involved in the fire has been grounded for further investigation.
