Romanian YouTuber and entrepreneur Selly has announced a major investment in an integrated resort and entertainment complex named Nibiru, located near Costinești on the Black Sea coast. The project promises to be a unique, high-end destination, catering to all generations with a diverse range of offerings.
The first phase of the investment will involve €50 million, which will be used to build key attractions such as a huge open-air mall, a massive event space, a spectacular amusement park, and what is described as the largest nightclub in the world with a capacity of 30,000 people [1][2][3].
Construction is set to begin in 2026, with the vision of positioning Nibiru as a high-end, event-driven resort that revitalizes the Costinești area and attracts tourists beyond the typical summer season. The project is spearheaded by Selly and his media group Global Records, with significant involvement from Lucian Ștefan (Gîtiță) [2].
Nibiru will offer more than just entertainment venues. It will also feature a fashion promenade, an open-air concert and festival venue with a capacity of up to 150,000 people, and relaxation areas [1][3]. The complex is designed to be open daily during the cultural season, offering daily shows and a varied program aimed at providing quality experiences across demographic groups.
The announcement of Nibiru has already had a positive impact on the local real estate market, with land prices nearby increasing by about 15% [2]. The resort is positioned as not only an entertainment hub but also part of a broader cultural and tourism development linked to events such as SEAS 2025, which aim to integrate large-scale cultural activities with the Romanian coastal experience [4].
Selly stated that Nibiru will respect its customers, with the shops in the complex having an aesthetic line and an internal order. The majority of investors in the project are partners from Global Records Group [2].
