We just had to crown this perfect, lightweight dress for baby's first summer, made by @lilikee_etsy using the Jamie Smocking pattern from Children's Corner made up in our Ditsy Floral Swiss knot cotton (a true classic). With a smocked bodice and peter pan collar, it would look dashing as a birthday or christening dress. The pattern can also be adapted as a romper suit for boys and even features an easier, unsmocked version for sewers with a less firm grip on the sewing jive.
