Twins of Ollie Locke, aged 2, have traveled on 27 flights, including private jets, with their lone economy flight being described as a 'nightmare' by Locke himself.

Two-year-old twins, as stated by Ollie Locke, have already traveled on 27 flights, which include private jets. Their only one economy flight encounter, according to him, was a miserable experience.

Ollie Locke, reality TV star and father of twins Apollo and Cosima, recently shared his experiences and tips for flying with children on the Fabulous' No Parental Guidance podcast.

Locke, who relies heavily on a nanny for support, admitted that his twins have traveled more than most adults, having taken 27 flights before their third birthday. Their first economy flight was to Ireland, and they cried the entire journey, an experience Locke described as a "nightmare."

However, despite the challenges, Locke praised the care his twins received at the NHS neonatal unit and said he wouldn't change a thing about being a parent.

When it comes to flying with kids, Locke emphasised the importance of patience, planning, and strategies to prevent or handle in-flight meltdowns effectively. His tips include packing smart, tiring them out before boarding, not fearing screen time, bribing them with small surprises, and lowering one's standards.

Locke also highlighted the differences between children's perceptions of flying and the reality of economy class. He suggested managing expectations and preparing children for the confines and limitations of economy travel.

The twins, born premature in Sunderland and spending five weeks in the NICU, are quite the adventurers. Apollo, one of the twins, is obsessed with doors and hinges, while Cosima, the other twin, is more relaxed compared to Apollo.

Locke shared a recent parenting fail, catching Apollo halfway through the cat flap, and admitted that he has no idea how to wear tights or do hair. To make his daughter's gender more obvious, he dresses her in pink dresses.

The twins have also experienced private jets and business class, including a hospital-related private jet due to their medical care after birth. Despite the luxury, Locke stated that the twins will not be flying economy again.

In the face of chaos, sleepless nights, and unplanned NICU experiences, Locke's advice for parents is simple: expect and prepare for the challenges of flying with kids, and use strategies to overcome meltdowns and reduce stress for the whole family.

  1. Ollie Locke suggests parents manage their children's expectations about economy class flights, as his twins, initially traumatized by their first economy trip to Ireland, later enjoyed luxurious travels like private jets and business class.
  2. While navigating the chaos of travel with children, Ollie Locke advocates for adopting a lifestyle that prioritizes patience, planning, and entertaining strategies to handle meltdowns, as seen in his own experiences raising his twin celebrities, Apollo and Cosima.
