Winter Flight Itinerary Expansion Includes New Destinations (Condor)

In an effort to strengthen city connectivity in the DACH region, German airline Condor is set to integrate Milan and Prague into its winter flight schedule starting from late October. This strategic expansion forms part of Condor's broader approach to cater to a wider audience, including city travelers and business customers.

Condor's CEO, Peter Gerber, has highlighted that both Milan and Prague are popular tourist destinations and serve as feeder airports for the long-haul network in the summer. By integrating these cities into the winter flight schedule, Condor aims to react to the development and strengthen its profile in the new markets.

Starting from the winter season 2025/2026, Condor will add a host of new cities to its winter flight offerings. These include Hurghada and Marsa Alam in Egypt; Kos, Heraklion, and Rhodes in Greece; Skopje in Macedonia; Vienna in Austria; Faro and Madeira in Portugal; Gran Canaria, Jerez de la Frontera, Palma de Mallorca, and Tenerife in Spain; Djerba and Enfidha in Tunisia; and Istanbul and Antalya in Turkey.

The airline will operate up to twice daily flights from Frankfurt to both Milan and Prague in the winter. This high frequency of flights offers an advantage for connecting passengers and provides business travelers and weekend commuters with flexible travel options.

Dominik Lelle, a member of the AERO INTERNATIONAL editorial team since 2023, writes about this exciting development in aviation. Lelle, who boards a plane with the same enthusiasm as the first time, is a passionate traveler himself, always looking forward to discovering new horizons. His passion for aviation inspires him to make the world of aviation tangible and exciting for the readers.

Condor is also strengthening its domestic and regional networking in the German-speaking region, connecting Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich to its central hub in Frankfurt up to three times daily. This expansion is part of Condor's broader strategy to position itself as an attractive option for city travelers and business customers.

The airline is responding to the growing interest in short city trips and the demand in business travel. The winter flight schedule 2025/26 reflects Condor's approach of strengthening European city connections alongside long-haul destinations. Both Milan and Prague, among the most popular city destinations in Europe, are set to benefit from this strategic move.
